Our first event started when I and my high school classmates/friends went to 22nd St(a comedy bar) in Antipolo, Rizal. That's where Aqueh got the idea of organizing a Valentine Show. At first, we hesitated to proceed because we only have less than a month to prepare. But when our talents agreed on the said date (February 13, 2010), we then decided to continue the event. We were able to get "Sweet Jams" who sings like Martin Nieverra;"Divine Tetay" impersonator of "Sha sha Padilla" and Chat Kabayo.
The event was a success more than 100 guests attended the said event. We received good comment and reviews from our guests. We held our event at Bricks and Gables Resto Bar located in Taytay Rizal. Although for some guests the place is far from their place, they attended the show. Good thing is that they enjoy the show! It is full of fun and laughter.
We invited our beneficiaries "Ang Arko ng Pilipinas" a home for less fortunate mentally handicap and they presented a special song number and they were given a booth to display and sell their products.
Organizing and event is tiring but fun! And that's the reason we organize our 2nd event. Hot Summer Bodies Competition 2010 which will be held in Bricks and Gables Resto Bar.
This is event is a success because of the effort made and time alloted by my partners in this business. Thanks to Aqueh, Lai, Mabel and Benjie.
this event have a serious case of the nerves....we really learned a lot from this..surely organizing events have a few glitches and there we learned not to expect too much coz the more you expect perfections, the more you'll be stress, right?
ReplyDeleteThere's one thing I've learned thou: Let go of the things you have no control over and take action to control the things you can.
So let's just do the best that we can in this 2nd endeavor..but let's try to beat stress so that we can handle any and everything that may come up or go wrong. CHEERS to my partners!!!
